Ravine is a name dubbed from Eldama Ravine, a town in Baringo County Kenya. Eldama is a Maasai word meaning narrow gorge and is believed to be the sacred land of milk and honey that East and Central African nations will thrive from.
Ravine Dairies is a brand that’s deeply tied to its people and the people’s culture, therefore to us dairy is more than drink in a glass; it’s a symbol of the fertility in our lands.
Being one with everybody in our ecosystem, Ravine Dairies has its processing plant in Nakuru, a central point that allows every farmer we work with to easily transport their milk at no financial burden and also helps preserve the farm freshness when delivered to our processing plant. The processing plant has a capacity of achieving 150,000 Litres per day, allowing us to play am economic part to over 400 families.
Our Product Range varies from Fresh Milk, UHTC Milk, Lala, Yogurt, Ghee and Butter. And since we believe charity starts at home, our products are first made available in our surrounding community then to the wider market in Kenya and the East & Central region.
The success of our Ravine Dairies is entirely dependent and appreciative of our farmers, we’ve therefore invested in farmer credits and famer training i.e., animal upgrade over time through artificial insemination to maximize milk capacity.
